Our Story
At the Gladys and Henry Crown Center for Senior Living, the residents and the staff share a commitment to independent living and an active lifestyle. People who live at Crown Center receive the support they need to maintain their privacy and dignity.
That was the intent of those who founded “the Delcrest” in 1967 as a non-profit affordable housing resource for older adults. Today, Crown Center is an ethnically blended community, whose residents come from around the corner, across the United States and around the globe. You will hear several different languages spoken at Crown Center and meet people from other cultures.
