This is one event we hope you didn’t miss- Farm to Table Vilna Experience, centered around The Vilna Vegetarian Cookbook by Fania Lewando, proprietor of a popular vegetarian restaurant in Vilna, Lithuania. Originally published in Yiddish in 1938, Lewando’s cookbook was rediscovered more than half a century later after Fania died in World War II. A vegetarian cookbook of this size was groundbreaking at the time it was published.
