Happy Planters visited the Green Center in Kaufman Park. The Green Center is an arts and environmental education organization dedicated to helping people understand the natural world through hands-on experiences, restoring native habitats, and encouraging artistic expression inspired by nature. We toured the demonstration gardens, which included prairie, woodland, herb, and Ozark gardens in a last hurrah for the growing season.
